Studio JC was founded in 2022 by partners Jen flannigan and Christie Stewart.

Jen is a co-founder of Studio JC and has been immersed in the world of interior design for over a decade. A graduate of High Point University with a B.S. in Interior Design, she began her career in Raleigh, where an internship evolved into a full-time role at Design Lines Signature. There, she worked alongside partner Christie Stewart for more than seven years.
Jen is especially valued for her organizational expertise and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring projects unfold seamlessly from concept through completion. With a strong passion for space planning and a deep respect for the individuality of each client, she creates interiors that feel authentic, functional, and enduring.
Known for her calm, structured approach, Jen brings clarity to even the most complex projects while making the design process feel approachable and enjoyable.
Outside the studio, Jen enjoys staying active, renovating her own home, and spending time with her four dogs — a love that informs her expertise in pet-friendly and practical design solutions.

Christie Stewart is a co-founder of Studio JC and brings over a decade of interior design experience to the firm. Known for her intuitive design perspective and refined eye for detail, Christie creates spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal.
A graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Interior Design, Christie has spent her career helping clients transform their homes into environments that promote comfort, beauty, and a true sense of retreat. She believes a well-designed home should function as a haven — supporting everyday living while inspiring a feeling of ease and joy.
Respected for her ability to envision what a space can become, Christie approaches each project with creativity, insight, and thoughtful intention. Her calm guidance and design expertise help clients feel confident throughout the process, resulting in homes that are as livable as they are timeless.
Outside the studio, Christie enjoys life in the charming town of Stem with her husband, Charles, and their two dogs, Kip and Axl. When she isn’t designing, she can often be found spending time on the lake with family or painting landscapes — creative outlets that continually inspire her work.
