The Process

How We Bring Your Vision to Life:

We have developed a refined process that brings clarity, structure, and confidence from the very beginning. While every home is unique, our proven approach ensures a seamless and thoughtfully guided design experience.

Step 1: Project Inquiry

Begin by completing our project inquiry form with as much detail as possible. Once reviewed, our team will determine if Studio JC is the right fit for your project and follow up to schedule an initial consultation.

Step 2: Initial Consultation:

This conversation allows us to understand your goals, scope, and vision while getting to know both you and your space. For existing homes, we will measure and photograph key areas. Following the consultation, a detailed letter of agreement outlining the scope of work and retainer will be provided.

Step 3: Concept Development:

With the agreement in place, collaboration begins. We develop a schematic design that captures the overall vision for your home, supported by curated inspiration and initial drawings presented for your review.

Step 4: Final Design & Documentation:

After refining the concept, we finalize drawings, selections, and specifications. Proposals are reviewed together, and upon approval, orders are placed. Comprehensive documentation is prepared to ensure alignment with builders and trade professionals.

Step 5: Project Coordination:

Our team remains actively involved throughout execution — overseeing installations, conducting site visits, and collaborating closely with contractors. We keep you informed along the way, bringing clarity to timelines and ensuring the design is implemented with precision.

Step 6: Reveal & Evaluation:

As the project concludes, we oversee any final installations and styling before walking through the completed spaces with you. The result is a home that feels cohesive, intentional, and ready to be lived in.

"a culmination of patience, understanding and guidance"

“ The exquisite finished project was a culmination of patience, understanding and guidance. Each piece of furniture, each countertop and surface, each cabinet knob and pull, each wall color ... They were all considered with a lot of thoughts and deliberation behind it. We are so thrilled with the final results. Along the way, I learned the fine nuances of home design.”
